Death Charades | Halloween-themed Board Games
Death Charades is a party game that pokes fun at life’s inevitable demise.
In timed rounds players draw cards and wordlessly act out the multitude of ways one might meet their maker, seeing how many cards their team can guess before time runs out.
Players split into two or more teams and alternate who is acting in each round.
Each round, one player has 45 seconds to draw cards and act out various ways to die while their team guesses.
No words are allowed while acting, but noises are encouraged.
Some deaths are more fun than others, and those are worth more points, as indicated by the knife icons on the cards.
You may skip one card per round, and there are other gameplay cards mixed into the deck that are self-explanatory.
The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
- Players: 2-20
- Playing Time: 15- 60 min
- Age: 13+
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza Halloween Edition
This is the Halloween themed edition of the wildly popular hand-slapping party game Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. It includes all of the characters of the original game edition dressed in their favorite costumes!
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is sure to bring some card slapping belly laughs to your table.
The best thing about it? Anyone can play!
Gameplay is simple: The entire deck is split between 2-8 players, who then place their individual stack of cards face-down in front of them.
Each person takes a turn flipping a card face-up on a pile in the middle while saying the words “Taco,” “Cat,” “Goat,” “Cheese,” “Pizza” — in that order.
If the card in the middle matches the word being spoken, the players race to slap their hands down on top of all the cards. Whoever is last must add the entire stack to their own set of cards.
The winner is the person who gets rid of all their cards first.
- Players: 3- 8
- Age: 8+
- Playing time: 10 mins
Hocus Pocus The Game | Halloween-themed Board Games
In Disney Hocus Pocus: The Game, players cooperate to ruin the Sanderson Witches’ potion three times before the sun rises.
Players hold a hand of ingredients of different types and colors and work together to get all the ingredient types or colors in the cauldron to match.
Each turn, players ask a question about other players’ hands.
They then play a card from their hand into the cauldron and draw back up to three cards. Now it’s the next player’s turn!
Some ingredient cards have Binx or a spell book on them.
When an Ingredient with Binx is played into the cauldron, Binx allows one player to reveal their hand so all players can see them. If a spell book is played, Winifred, Mary, or Sarah casts a spell to ruin your plans!
Players also have four “Tricks” to use; each Trick can be used once per game. Choose from “Circle of Salt,” “Daylight Savings Time,” “Billy Butcherson,” or the “Burning Rain of Death”!
